Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy explains how subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds work for Mailsurity. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

Last updated: June 20, 2026

1. Overview

Mailsurity is a subscription service billed monthly in advance. You can cancel at any time. Because the Service is a digital product delivered immediately, paid subscription periods are non-refundable except where required by law or as described below.

2. Try before you buy (free tier)

Every new account receives a one-time allotment of free credits — no payment card required. This free tier exists so you can fully evaluate detection quality, latency, and the API before paying. We encourage you to use it before subscribing.

3. How to cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard's billing settings, which open the secure customer portal provided by our payment processor. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not trigger a refund for the current period.

4. What happens when you cancel

  • Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
  • You keep access to your remaining credits for that period. Credits do not roll over and are not refundable or transferable.
  • You will not be charged again after cancellation.
  • At the end of the period, your plan reverts and paid features stop; your account and data remain accessible per our Privacy Policy.

5. Refunds

We generally do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused credits, or for periods after you stop using the Service. Subscription fees already charged for the current period are non-refundable.

6. Exceptions

We will review refund requests in good faith in cases such as:

  • a duplicate or clearly erroneous charge;
  • a billing error on our side (for example, you were charged after a confirmed cancellation); or
  • where a refund is required by applicable law.

To request a review, email support@mailsurity.com within 30 days of the charge, including your account email and the transaction details. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.

7. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we mark the account past due, notify you by email, and may retry the charge. To avoid interruption, update your payment method from the billing portal. We may suspend paid features while an account remains past due.

8. Price & plan changes

We may change plan pricing or features. We will give reasonable notice of changes that affect your subscription, and any change takes effect on your next billing cycle. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
